Quality Assurance Engineer

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering field
Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Customer Quality, or related functions, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry
Understanding of engine parts production, engine assembly processes, and measurement techniques/tools
Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
Good command of English, Japanese is an advantage
Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills

Handle customer quality issues and complaints, analyze root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
Monitor production and part quality issues, conduct on-site investigations, establish containment actions and breakpoints, and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards, including IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
Drive quality improvement and recurrence prevention activities, including QCC, defect reduction, and preventive actions.
Analyze and prepare quality performance reports on a weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual basis for management review and continuous improvement.
