
Purchasing Staff
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business administration, International Business, or other related fields
- Age between 22–25 years
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are welcome
- Good command of English (knowledge of Japanese is an advantage)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., preparing purchase plans, Pivot Table, Lookup functions)
- Experience in purchasing parts from overseas or material control is an advantage
- Understanding of material management systems such as BOM, Plan vs. Actual, and Lot Control
- Ability to work effectively with the Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams
- Experience with AS400, SAP, or other ERP systems is an advantage
- High sense of responsibility and ability to solve problems proactively
Job Description
- Coordinate and purchase imported parts from other departments for production, including new product trials.
- Monitor and plan the delivery of imported parts from ports to external warehouses and to the factory, ensuring timely arrival for production needs.
- Prepare monthly reports on defective imported parts (DPI), record data in AS400, and coordinate with suppliers for claims or replacements.
- Issue purchase requests for sub-materials (e.g., glue, chemicals, gloves), record invoices in the SAP system, and support payment processing.
- Control inventory of sub-materials and submit monthly stock reports to the accounting department.
- Manage expenses related to external warehouses and import procedures handled by ILAT and IMCT.
- Support and participate in various company and departmental activities.
